From Gibsons Seniors Society President Ron Sayer:
"Recently we received our AED ( Automatic Electronic Defibrillator) which was successfully installed in Harmony Hall. We chose the most conspicuous place possible, next to the kitchen. The 'patient' being resuscitated is Ray Bailey who was a leader amongst advocates to get the device.
The second group are some of the magnificent volunteers who spent over 4 1/2 hours being trained by Scott Spain of the BC Ambulance Service. Missing from the Photo are Alex and Susan Paul. Hopefully you may recognize the faces of the other trainees.
Our thanks to Scott Spain for some great training and to the BC Provincial Government and Heart and Stroke Foundation for providing all of the training material and the AED free of charge."
